Happy Birthday Andy!

Well we had a great oarty last night. Lots of food, fun and friends! Just wanted to say Happy 29th Birthday to my fiance Andy! I will upload party pics sometime this week. We just got back from the Blues game. And we are so tired!

Jacobsens come to town

COMES TO



So we go on a family vacation to Hot Springs every summer (parents, sister , brother nephews etc.) 3 summers ago we met the Jacobsens form Nebraska. We have been friends ever since. Well Ev & Jake finally made to STL to see us last weekend. It was an awesome weekend and we did so much!

(I didnt go there still hungover from halloween haah!)

Then Andy & I met everyone up at Fast Eddies. They loved that place!





Then we went back to my Moms in Hillsboro for a bonfire and some more drinking!
(needless to say we all fell asleep pretty early that night.)





Sunday it was so beautiful out we took a boat ride





Then a few people came over and my parents had a fish fry






See they are just like us! No wonder we get along so well!


It was a great weekend!

Halloween fun!

So every Halloween Alton has a huge parade. The kids actually trick -or -treat the night before Halloween here b/c the whole town goes to the parade. This was my first year going a it was a blast!

Me , Andy, Tracie, & Kevin went. We got there about an hour early and tailgated on Fast Eddies parking lot.

There were tons of people up and down both sides of the street all the way down past the Alton Belle.

I didnt get that good of pics I was too busy drinking :)
Here's some of us goofing off at fast eddies & back at my house after 7 hours of drinking I can't explain some of these but I know we had good times!

Just wanted to say have a Happy Halloween! A few of us are dressing up and going to Fast Eddies go figure!!! If anyone wants to come out and party see ya there!

BTW YES, I went and voted yesterday. I stood in line for an hour. I feel sorry fo rthe people who go on the 4th. Our poles ahve been open all day for 2 weeks now and the line still sucks!

So Madison County has "Early Bird voting " So of course I'd rather do that then wait in line on the 4th so Andy & I got home, got ready real fast, and went to the city hall to vote. There was a huge line and voting ended at 5:00 pm . So we get all the way to the front of the line and the old HAG lady says she's shutting down for the day! WTF! I said "this is bullshit! It's only 4:50 & I've been in line for 45 minutes! You could have at least warned people you see this huge line! " Anyway the lady wouldn't take anymore people about 50 people had to turn away. She only said "we're open for 2 more days come back tomorrow" Go Fuck yourself lady ! needless to say we were quite PISSED! That's our good tax dollars at work there! So right now I'm about ready to say FUCK voting. There's no one good to pick from anyway!
