This Memorial Day I want send send a special shout out to my good friend Marissa & her son Ian.

Ian just from graduated high school this year and bravely decided to join the Marines. He will leave for boot camp in CA today. Take Care Ian! Everyone is so proud of you!

My time arrived, to leave this earth

It happened where I had to go
My torch for life was so aglow
I transferred while in uniform
Protecting freedom, through a storm
Should I resent I died for you
Not on my life, red white and blue
Please help my family through each day
Tell all my friends, try not to stray
And of the country I did love

I love your blog, so I'm not trying to complain...but...can you change the font color? I'm seriously going blind trying to read the blue over the brown :)

i see black on brown too. Uh Chrissy maybe having 3 babies at once did some damage to your eyes!!! HA
I usually see black font but one day it was blue and I was having a hard time reading it. But now it's back to normal. I wonder if the blue font was on my home computer?
Also, I will keep Marissa's son, Ian, in my thoughts and prayers. It'a a very noble thing he is doing and I am thanful for people like him!
